Once again our annual fundraiser was held in The Great Hall at The Alverton on Friday January 19th 2024, in memory of Mike Moncini.
Another fantastic evening hosted by local comedian Johnny Cowling, an evening of fun, laughter, games and dancing kept everyone entertained. The pasties during the interval were amazing and enjoyed by all who attended.
The event was well attended once again, raising much needed awareness and funds for SWASAG to continue the amazing work carried out throughout the year.
After the interval the raffle was drawn with some amazing prizes on offer, including several hampers, a Harrods hamper and many others. There was also a golden envelope which could be purchased to win an amazon voucher worth £100 which was well received by everyone.
Finally the dancing commenced with Johnny once again singing and dancing the night away.
A huge £4300 was raised on the evening, which will go towards continuing to support a Mesothelioma UK Nurse for the South West.
