Our annual fundraiser this year was held at The Britannia Inn St Austell on Friday 16th January 2026, as always in memory of Mike Moncini who lost his battle with Mesothelioma in 2018.
Another brilliant evening hosted by local comedian Johnny Cowling, featuring laughter, games, raffles, and an auction which included a teamed signed Manchester Utd shirt as always there was plenty of dancing, keeping everyone entertained. The pasties served at the interval were delicious.
The event was sold out and raised much-needed support and awareness for mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases, enabling SWASAG to continue the remarkable work carried out throughout the year.
A huge £3350 was raised on the evening which will go towards continuing to support the Mesothelioma UK Nurse for the South West.
